Former Staveley, Worksop, Dinnington, Parkgate, Goole, Pontefract Colliereis, Ossett Town and AFC Mansfield forward Grant Allott, pictured, will go straight into the Blues squad heading to Alvechurch in EVO-STIK League South after signing for manager Spencer Fearn on Thursday night.
The versatile 31-year-old, who made 20 appearances for Ossett in 2014-15 campaign before switching to the Bulls, is reunited with his free-scoring younger sibling who returned to the SW Jackson Utilities Stadium in the summer after two successful seasons with 2016-17 EVO-STIK League South champions Shaw Lane.
The Blues joked that yet another member of the Allott family could also be joining them in a club statement announcing the transfer.
A spokesman said: "Grant has seen it and done it in and around this level. He goes straight into the squad for Alvechurch on Saturday. Welcome aboard Grant. There is talk of their dad, David, coming in to play a 'libero' role in the future, as yet unconfirmed ..."
Gavin Allott, 30, originally signed for Frickley in July 2012 from Northern Counties East League Worksop Parramore and was the club's top scorer in three successive seasons. He has also scored goals for Belper Town, Dinnington Town, Goole AFC, Guiseley, Parkgate and Worksop Town.
