NPL West Division Team of the Season announced

The starting XI sees three players included for champions Bury, play-off winners Avro and Stalybridge Celtic, who finished third.

After a fairytale debut season at Step 4 saw Lower Breck secure a play-off position, two of their standout performers - Sam Burns and Alex Cherera - have also been named.

The bench sees representation for Runcorn Linnets and Congleton Town, with the respective inclusion of Joe Ferguson and Max McCarthy.

Kyle Hawley, last season's Golden Boot winner in the West with 25 goals, spearheads a three-strong attack which also includes Bury's Kai Evans, who impressed for the Shakers during his first season at the club. 

Our Team of the Season was voted for by managers in their respective divisions.

The four Team of the Season sides are being announced throughout the week, as part of the build-up to the NPL's annual awards dinner in Blackpool.
