Rushall Olympic`s new manager Richard Sneekes will be sponsored by the fans of his former club when the new EVO-STIK League season kicks off in August.

The home and away kit of the 45-year-old former Baggies midfielder will be sponsored by the West Bromwich Albion Supporters Club after Pics commercial manager Terry Brumpton completed a deal with the fans’ group in June.

Sneekes took over at Dales Lane in May from former manager Neil Kitching after the end of the Premier Division campaign and the Baggies supporters were delighted to back the Dutchman who made more than 250 appearances for the West Midlands giants between 1996 and 2001.

John Homer, chairman of the West Bromwich Albion Supporters Club, said: "We are delighted to sponsor Richard Sneekes for the forthcoming season. He was a tremendous player for the Albion and all Albion fans will be hoping that Richard can begin a successful managerial career in the game.

"I`m sure that we will all be looking out for Rushall`s results in the coming season, and we trust that the club have a successful and enjoyable campaign."

A Pics spokesman said: "Our thanks go to the West Bromwich Albion Supporters Club for their support and we hope to see one or two Baggies fans at Dales Lane for the pre-season friendlies and hopefully one or two of our league games."

* Central defender Jack Duggan became one of the first players at the club to commit to the new-look Pics squad Sneekes and his assistant manager Steve Hinks are building in June when the 21-year-old former Northwich Victoria, Fleetwood Town, Lancaster City and Kendal Town player signed a twelve month contract with an option to extend.
