Bellingham rejoins Royals

Prolific striker signs from Daventry

Prolific striker Mark Bellingham has re-joined Sutton Coldfield Town, and goes straight into the squad to face Sheffield FC.

Assistant manager Neil Tooth told the Evo-Stik NPL website how delighted the management team are to have Bellingham back.

"(The signing is) a massive boost for everyone involved at the club; Bello has agreed to come back and finish what he started", said Tooth, "We didnt want to lose him when we did, but Daventry offered him a deal that blew us out of the water.

"Things have changed with his job and I think that was making life difficult for him in getting over to Daventry so we asked the question and luckily Bello agreed to come back.

"It's no secret that this will be Bello's last season at this level so we have tasked him with scoring the goals that get us into the play offs. It will also be fantastic for our young forwards to play with and learn from him, as he finished last season with 27 goals."
