Leek Town defender Ashley Woolliscroft has reached the 200 appearances milestone after coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 home win over Kidsgrove Athletic in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South.
The experienced defender returned to the club last summer after almost five years away from Harrison Park and starred in the run to the campaign's Play-Off Final at the end of last season when he was also named Manager’s Player of the Year.
Wooliscroft kicked off his career at Stoke City where he gained first team experience before moving on to Telford United and then Newtown in Wales.
The Blues veteran joined Leek for a first spell in September 2003 and went on to become club captain while making more than 150 appearances for the club before leaving to join Kidsgrove Athletic.
He subsequently went on to play for Hednesford Town, Stalybridge Celtic AFC, Telford United and Fleetwood Town.
