Brewers bring in trio of new signings

Tadcaster Albion have announced the triple-signing of midfielder Lewis Hey and forwards Eddy Prata and Roy Fogarty.

Hey, 19, arrives on loan from Pitching In NPL Premier Division side Guiseley.

He is available until the end of October and made his Brewers debut last weekend against Carlton Town, providing the assist for Nathan Dyer in their 1-1 draw at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

Another player who made his debut in that match was Lisbon-born Prata, who spent time with Leeds United and Bradford City at youth level.

Following a brief return to his native Portugal, the 22-year-old returned to England in time for pre-season, and has now linked up with Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson’s side after a spell at Guiseley.

Completing the trio of new arrivals is experienced striker Fogarty.

The 31-year-old will link up once more with his former managers, having featured for a number of non-league sides previously.

A natural target man, Fogarty also spent six years with Bradford City.

Tadcaster are next in action away at Grimsby Borough on Saturday.
