Supporters at Brigg Town will be toasting the club's new shirt sponsors with a pint of Carling after the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South club teamed up with a major brewer.
On Wednesday the locally based Molson Coors Brewing Company signed a two year deal to sponsor Brigg's home kit. As part of the deal Zebra fans will find the clubhouse at their Hawthorns ground is now stocking a full range of the main Coors brand beers including Carling.
The Carling brand, synonymous with football since their sponsorship of the Premier League, will now be emblazoned across Brigg's home kit.
Brigg manager Mick Gray and his assistant Paul Fenwick are pictured with Molson Coors Sales Manager Carl Rodrigues with the new kit after the deal was signed on Tuesday and announced today [Wednesday].
Rodrigues and Brigg's board agreed that choosing to display the Carling brand logo on the shirts was the perfect choice for the ambitious club.
