Brown leaves South Shields

The centre-half was South Shields' player of the year last season, and has spent two seasons with the club.

"I would like to thank South Shields for my last two years," Brown announced on social media.

"I've met some fantastic people and it really is a special, special club which is only ever going to be successful. All the best to everyone at the club and all the fantastic supporters."
