Cable, 21, has scored 13 goals in 16 matches this season and returns to Frickley for a second spell.
Manager John Stancliffe said: “I am delighted to have re-signed Sam back to the football club. Sam is a player we have monitored all season and it has been great to see how he has grown as the season has progressed. Sam adds another dimension to our forward line and I can’t wait to see him back in a Frickley shirt.
“Sam is a down to earth lad and it has been a pleasure speaking and getting to know him over the past few days. He has Frickley at heart and so does his family, I am sure the signing will be very popular with our fans, to have one of their own leading the attack.”
Jacob Hazel
Meanwhile, Frickley have awarded their Bowlands Brewery Player of the Month award for October to Jacob Hazel.
Hazel was chosen by their interactive Man of the Match vote and was presented with his award by club secretary Ruth Simpson.
