The Evo-Stik NPL's Prescot Cables might not be too popular with Everton fans next week as the First Division North outfit are helping Leyton Orient prepare to knock the Toffees out of the Capital Cup.

League One Orient are taking on the Premier League outfit on Wednesday night at Goodison Park in the League Cup's first round and Cables have agreed to let the Londoners train at their Valerie Park Stadium that afternoon.

As a thank you for their help Orient are promising to donate a number of signed kits and merchandise to the Evo-Stik NPL club.

Tigers spokesman Doug Lace said: "We were delighted to agree to Orient's request after they called this week and are all looking forward to meeting their players and management. We wish them the very best of luck against Everton."
