Callum Dolan makes Football League move

League One side Fleetwood Town have snapped up talented attacking midfielder Callum Dolan from Warrington Rylands for an undisclosed fee.

Town fought off a host of EFL clubs for the 22-year-old’s signature.

Dolan had been an ever-present for Rylands during the 2022/23 season, scoring 15 times in 26 appearances over the last six months.

He started his career at Premier League giants Manchester United, and has been in the EFL before having signed for Oldham Athletic

Stints at Radcliffe and Matlock Town followed for Dolan, who will remain with the club until at least the summer of 2025.

On the move, he said: "I am delighted to be here. I wanted to be back in full-time football and I am grateful Fleetwood Town have given me that opportunity.

"I want to come here and score goals. I want to create chances from behind the striker and also get assists. I always say high risk equals high rewards.

"It's about proving to myself and others that I can play at this level. Self-belief has been a massive trait of mine, I never doubt myself."
