The United manager hailed the club's key off field supporters at Greenwich Avenue after his side were named on Friday as one of November's three Club of the Month winners alongside Warrington Town in the top flight and Prescot Cables in EVO-STIK League North thanks to their five wins on the spin in EVO-STIK League South and run to the last 16 of the Integro League Cup.
Carruthers, pictured, praised everybody connected with the success of his runaway leaders as they prepared to host Clifton All Whites at Greenwich Avenue on Tuesday night in the third round of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.
He said: "It's great for everyone at the club to get this award and to get some recognition for what we have achieved this season. It's not just about the players and management but all the others at the club who play their part too. We now have to make sure we don't let our standards slip."

Carrurthers was taking nothing for granted against the club's Northern Counties East cup opponents despite his side's award winning form and current 15 points lead at the top of the table.
He said: "Clifton have a number of ex-Basford players in their squad who will be keen to impress and put one over on us. The difference in leagues means nothing, it is all about who performs on the night and we have to make sure it is us."
