Witton Albion manager Brian Pritchard will use a hastily arranged friendly fixture at home to Chester on Tuesday night to bed in new signing Danny Meadowcroft and help the rest of his squad regain match fitness.
After January's unwanted snow induced winter break the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League manager agreed to stage the game after a late request for a game from Conference North Chester on Friday.
Club Secretary Jeff Metcalf said: "Chester contacted us on Friday morning for the game. For both teams, it is for much needed match practice, especially for us to get new signing Danny Meadowcroft, and a couple of players coming back from knocks, up to speed."
Kick off at the Help For Heroes Stadium is 7pm with adults admitted for £4 and concessions £3.
