Children's hospital is official charity

The fans, players and officials Matlock Town will be raising funds for the Sheffield Children's Hospital when the 2018-19 EVO-STIK League season kicks off.

The EVO-STIK League Premier Division's Gladiators unveiled the hospital as their official charity on Thursday to fund life-saving equipment, vital research and treatment for thousands of children.

Using their Twitter account to pledge their support, @Matlock_TownFC tweeted: "This season we are supporting @SheffChildrens who raise money to fund life-saving equipment, vital research and create a comfortable, engaging environment for their children."
