Evo-Stik NPL Fair Play Awards

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s Respect Manager Phil Bradley loves rewarding clubs for sportsmanship and fair play so he was all smiles when he turned up at Farsley AFC before Christmas like Santa bearing gifts!

Pictured alongside Villagers manager Neil Parsley, Bradley was at Throstle Nest for their 3-0 win over Mossley, more than happy to present November’s First Division North Fair Play Award to a club who’ve combined fair play with form to bring success on the pitch.

Currently third in the table, Farsley were the division’s best behaved side in November after collecting just two cautions in six games, emerging with one of the lowest disciplinary averages of the season across all three divisions of just 0.33. The club’s performance was no flash in the pan with the Villagers still topping the campaign's overall fair play tables after being unveiled on New Year’s Eve as December’s winners.

Farsley were named as November’s winners alongside Ilkeston FC in the Premier Division and Chasetown in First Division South. Like all winners of the monthly competition, the clubs received a bottle of Pol Roger champagne together with an inscribed certificate to record their achievement.
