Ramsbottom United received their Club of the Month award for November before ending Radcliffe’s seven game winning run on Boxing Day.

Club chairman Harry Williams and manager Chris Willcock were the grateful recipients of the award for the EVO-STIK League West Division.

NPL committee man and Radcliffe chairman Paul Hilton presented a glass memento and a 1ltr bottle of whiskey, while Willcock received a case of Bowland Brewery Hen Harrier beer supplied by the league’s brewery sponsors before kick-off.

Since Willcock’s appointment in early October, Ramsbottom have lost just once in 17 matches.

Also receiving their club of the month award on Boxing Day were Premier Division winners Gainsborough Trinity.
