Clubs have faith in new FA calendar

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK League has sent out the Football Association's new faith calendar listing key religious dates over the upcoming 2018-19 season to member clubs.

Produced or the first time last season in conjunction with Kick It Out, the calendar lists the key religious dates of the six biggest faiths in the United Kingdom - Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism.

As well as an explanation of the key religious observances for each faith, guidance is also provided for clubs across all levels of the game around fixtures and religious observance, along with suggested individual faith related social media messages for the religions.
