Clubs learn FA Cup fate

By James Gordon

The remaining EVO-STIK Premier League clubs in the FA Cup now know who stands between them and a place in the first round proper.

Premier Division side Marine welcome National League leaders Salford City, while Witton Albion’s reward for a terrific win at FC United is a home time with another National League side, Solihull Moors.

Warrington Town, who like Marine and Witton beat National League North opponents in the third qualifying round, will host Halifax Town, also of the National League.

The fourth Premier Division side still in the hat is Workington, who must get through a replay with Evo-Stik West Division side Kidsgrove Athletic on Tuesday night to earn a tie away at Hartlepool United.

The other Evo-Stik interest comes in the shape of East Division side Cleethorpes Town, who have a replay against Guiseley on Tuesday night, with the prize a home draw against Stourbridge.

The fourth qualifying round is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday October 20.

Each winning club will receive £25,000 from the FA prize fund and a place in the first round proper.
