Veteran defender Rob Kozluk has hung up his playing boots to take up a full-time coaching position with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Ilkeston FC.

Kozluk, pictured, announced his decision to quit playing on Monday after picking up an injury against King's Lynn Town in their Premier Division clash last week.

The 36-year-old former England U21 defender counts Derby County, Sheffield United, Barnsley, Port Vale and Bradford City among his former clubs and has also spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End.

The Robins say that apart from coaching the first team at the New Manor Groound, Kozluk will also start working with the talented young footballers in the club's Academy. Kozluk originally signed for Robins manager Kevin Wilson in January 2013 in a player-coach role.
