AFC Fylde’s Business Development Manager Martin Booker is moving up the road to take charge of League 2 Fleetwood Town’s commercial team.

The Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Coasters hope to appoint a successor to Booker, pictured, as soon as possible and have been advertising in The Non-League Paper.

Booker leaves the full time post following their home game against Ilkeston on Saturday 15 December after being offered the Head of Commercial role at former Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club Fleetwood.

AFC Fylde’s Chairman, David Haythornthwaite, said: "Martin has been with the club for four and half years and been an important part of our journey. I have enjoyed working with him as we worked our way up the Pyramid and he has a fantastic opportunity to join a League club on the doorstep. I advised him he would be daft not to take it and would like to wish him well in his new position and thank him for his hard work."

Booker, who joined the club in 2008, said: "The club has enjoyed tremendous success on and off the field and it’s been a fantastic experience and challenge for me. I’d like to thank David and Dai for their support during this time and Dave Challinor, the staff, players, volunteers, supporters and sponsors for their support in my role over the years. I’m sure the club will continue to make progress and be successful."
