Commercial Manager vacancy - Ashton United

Evostik Northern Premier League Premier Division Ashton United is currently inviting applications for the position of Commercial Manager.

The successful applicant will provide new business income for a thriving and ambitious football club, as well as achieving continued support for its current excellent sponsors. Remuneration for the position is on a self-employed commission only basis, with no maximum earning, which will be paid in line with the rewards achieved for the Football Club.

Duties and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are attracting investment in the club by way of sponsorship and other general fundraising activities, including ground advertising, programme advertisements and match sponsorships, together

with increasing membership of the club lottery. The successful applicant will also boost income with current advertisers, as well as secure new business.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Experience of working within the football, sports, or the sales industry would be beneficial.

Experience in sales, cold calling would be an advantage
