Conlon wins second Player of the Month award

Mike Conlon has been named Bowland Brewery Player of the Month for Newcastle Town for the second time this season.

Conlon received the February award from manager Robin van der Laan.

Meanwhile, the club has paid tribute to long term servant and groundsman Colin Spencer, who passed away at the weekend.

A club statement said: "Colin was Castle through and through, his work and dedication to the club will never be seen again and his daily presence at the Lyme Valley will be sorely missed by many.
