One of eight EVO-STIK League clubs in fourth qualifying round action this weekend, the Dabbers are hosting a Poppies side at the top of the EVO-STIK League Southern Premier table and on a run of eight wins on the spin.
Cooke insists his Dabbers are more than capable of earning a place in the First Round Proper for only the second time in the club's history when they kick off at the Weaver Stadium despite coming into the tie on the back of defeats to Altrincham and Farsley Celtic since knocking out Nuneaton Town in the last round.
The Dabbers manager, pictured, told crewechronicle.co.uk on Thursday that his side should also be better prepared as an EVO-STIK League club. "They will be a strong side, we know that they are flying but I'm not sure their league is as strong as ours and I don't think we have anything to fear," he said.
"It's a one-off game, and obviously we have been good in the cup games. We've had some horrendous luck on the pitch and with injuries recently but that will turn. We'll be well prepared and I'm looking forward to it. It's a huge opportunity."
