Crewe Alexandra to test Quinn's Dabbers

Nantwich Town manager Jimmy Quinn has fixed up a tough a test for his young Dabbers after booking a home friendly against League One new boys Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 21 July.

Before the derby with a Crewe side guided to promotion by manager Steve Davis in May, Quinn’s Evo-Stik NPL Premier outfit take on Conference side Altrincham at the Weaver stadium the previous Saturday.

The Dabbers welcome Welsh outfit Bala Town in their final home friendly on Saturday, 11 August.

Elsewhere, fellow Premier side Stafford Rangers released details of eight friendlies today with Rangers kicking off their preseason campaign away to Stone Dominoes on Saturday 7 July.

Highlights of their schedule include Rangers facing Marcus Law’s Conference side Tamworth at home on Saturday 14 July and another Conference team, Kidderminster Harriers, on Saturday 21 July.

Fellow Evo-Stik NPL side Kidsgrove Athletic are their final opponents ahead of the new season when Rangers travel to Hollinwood Road on Saturday 11 August.
