EVO-STIK NPL Fair Play Awards

Nantwich Town, Northwich Victoria and Stafford Rangers are looking forward to collecting EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Fair Play Awards after being unveiled as November's monthly winners.

The three clubs were named on Monday as the best behaved sides last month after topping their respective divisional fair play tables which are based on EVO-STIK NPL fixtures played divided by points for yellow and red cards. Where clubs are tied on points, marks awarded by referees over the month for behaviour in the technical area are taken into account.

All three clubs are now looking forward to being presented with an inscribed certificate to mark their achievements and a bottle of Pol Roger champagne to toast their success by representatives of the EVO-STIK League at upcoming fixtures.

Danny Johnson's Dabbers will be rewarded for being the division's best behaved side after collecting just two cautions in four Premier Division outings last month to post a disciplinary average of 0.50 and climb to sixth in the overall behaviour table behind leaders Blyth Spartans with a season-to-date average of 1.24 from 17 games.

In First Division North, Northwich Victoria are also up to sixth in the overall table after Jim Gannon's side collected three yellows in five outings last month to average 0.60. Bamber Bridge lead the division's overall table with an average of 0.94 from 17 games played.

Stafford Rangers and manager Neil Kitching are hunting for a play-off spot this season and they are also in the running for the overall behaviour award at the end of the First Division South campaign. Now second in the table behind leaders Newcastle Town on 0.73 from 22 games played, Rangers can lay claim to being the EVO-STIK NPL's best behaved club last month after emerging with a disciplinary average of 0.50 from six outings.

* The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League was named as the best behaved competition in the top levels of Non-League football for the fourth time in five years last season. Skelmersdale United completed a ‘Respect double’ at the Football Association’s 2014 Fair Play and Respect Awards when they were named as Non-League’s best behaved club.

Skem’s triumph saw an EVO-STIK NPL League club win the FA’s National League System Step 1-4 Respect and Fair Play Club Award for the fifth year in a row since the accolades were launched, Tommy Lawson’s men following in the footsteps of inaugural winners Garforth Town in 2010, Lancaster City in 2011, AFC Fylde in 2012 and Nantwich Town in 2013.
