Cup final call to back stars of the future

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Warrington Town are calling on fans to cheer their youth team on to victory in the Cheshire Youth Cup Final.

The First Division North club's star youngsters are taking on Vauxhall Motors at Runcorn Linnets' Millbank Stadium on Sunday 6 April. After conceding just one goal on the way to the final, officials are urging supporters to make the trip and turn out in force for the 11am kick off.

More than sixty teams including senior Non-League clubs like Chester and Witton Albion, beaten by the Wire in the semi-finals, entered this year's competition.

"Get along and support the future of the club," said a spokesman.
