Cup kings on their greatest night!

By David Watters

Friday's EVO-STIK NPL Show pays full homage to the cup heroes of Stourbridge after their history-making run to the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.

After booking a January 7 trip to League Two Wycombe Wanderers with a famous 1-0 win over Northampton Town at the War Memorial Ground on Tuesday night, proud Glassboys chairman Andy Pountney and manager Gary Hackett joined host Ben Hughes for the hour long cup special to look back on one of the greatest, if not the greatest nights in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club's history.

Recorded at the Heaton Hops on Wednesday night by the award-winning team behind FCUM Radio, the latest spin-off show from the monthly EVO-STIK NPL podcast also looks back up on this week's league action and the performances of the EVO-STIK NPL's clubs in the Buildbase FA Trophy as host Hughes is joined by guests from Nantwich Town, Frickley Athletic, and Coalville Town.

Others on the audio show for the fans, players and officials of the EVO-STIK NPL include Barwell boss Jimmy Ginnelly and Andrew Simpson at the Mid Cheshire Guardian for a full preview for all this weekend's Premier Division fixtures and a look at the programmes in EVO-STIK NPL First Division North and South.

Thousands of listeners have been downloading the EVO-STIK NPL Show and its two sister spin-offs - the EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra and the EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show - since the podcasts returned for the fourth season running in August.

Sponsored for the third season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK, the podcasts are available on both iTunes and Audioboom and since last season via the links below and directly via their own buttons on the right hand side of the home page.
