Cup winners toast stadium sponsor

The home of the EVO-STIK League West club and 2018 Integro League Cup champions will be known as the Skuna Stadium for the next three seasons after the new partnership was announced on Wednesday.

Skuna were also unveiled as a main supplier of the club's bar after their beverages proved to be an instant hit with fans on Saturday when they made their 'debut' for Atherton's 9-1 rout of Skelmersdale United in EVO-STIK League West.

Delighted Colls officials are looking forward to the "exciting partnership" kicking off officially this weekend when the club hosts Kidsgrove Athletic in the first qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup at their newly renamed ground.

A spokesman said: "On our travels over recent seasons we have often enjoyed visiting clubs with their own signature beverages and we are excited to have agreed a deal to develop a similar partnership here at Alder Street. We would like to thank Skuna for their support, and we look forward to developing our partnership over the years to come."
