The 30-year-old winger has played 26 times for Hyde this season, scoring twice, including the winning goal against the Dabbers back in September.
In recent years, Dawson has also appeared for Bamber Bridge, Radcliffe and Chester, as well as a short spell in Cyprus’ Second Division.
He has also played EFL football for Accrington and Notts County, as well as captaining a 5-a-side team selected by Neymar in a tournament in Qatar last summer.
He will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Guiseley.
On this signing, Dabbers head coach Gary Taylor-Fletcher said: “With what we’ve been building, we decided to push the boat out for Adam because we know he’s the type of quality player that we needed.
“He’s skilful and we’re hoping he can give us a little bit more quality with that final ball, making assists and bringing some goals.
“We’re not sharing goals around enough, our defence is the fourth-best in the league but on goals scored we’re the second lowest, so that’s something we’re looking to rectify.”
