Dabbers target festive fans

Nantwich Town reckon they're getting into the festive spirit by slashing prices for their Christmas Saturday home game against high-flying Marine.

The Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Dabbers are offering free entry to children accompanied by adults for the match on 29 December and reducing admission prices to £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Dabbers Jon Gold is asking supporters to spread the word about the game and to bring a mate and help double the gate for festive fixture.

Gold said: "We want everyone to come down to the Weaver Stadium and get behind Jimmy [Quinn] and the team. We are in contention for the play-offs and this will be a top of the table clash against Marine. It would be great to get a big crowd along to the game to cheer the team on."

Nantwich Town are also offering free parking at the Weaver Stadium for the Mariners clash and say season ticket holders will be offered complimentary glasses of mulled mine and a mince pie in the main bar before kick off.
