David Searby - North Ferriby United

It is with profound sadness and regret that the club is to announce the passing of our long serving committee colleague and dear friend David Searby, who so tragically lost his fight with illness having just been allowed home for Christmas.

Our immediate thoughts and sincere condolences go out to Gail and her family.

During his 20 years at the football club, David has served as Treasurer, Accountant and most recently as a Vice President. His immense contribution will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Details of funeral arrangements will be advised as soon as available and a minutes silence is to be held ahead of our home fixture against Worksop Town on Monday 2 January 2012.
