December's top bosses toast New Year

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's final managerial awards of 2012 have gone to Worksop Town's Simon Clark, Trafford's Garry Vaughan and Sutton Coldfield Town's Neil Tooth.

The trio were named on New Year's Eve as December's top bosses. Each will be presented with an inscribed certificate marking their achievement along with personalised items from the Errea benchwear range by representatives of the league and sponsors Bostik, the parent company of league title sponsors Evo-Stik.

Tigers manager Clark will be the first manager honoured when he is presented with December's Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Manager of the Month accolade before Worksop host Frickley Athletic in the Doodson Sport Cup on Wednesday January 9. Clark takes the division's honours after leading his side to five wins from five and seeing them add 16 more goals to the club's goals scored column.

Trafford manager Vaughan is set to collect his Evo-Stik NPL First Division North honour three days later at Shawe View on Saturday 12 January before his side meet Mossley in league action. Vaughan was named as the division's top manager after his side ended 2012 in third place in the league following an unbeaten run that also saw the North reach the Third Round of the Doodson Sport Cup.

Sutton Coldfield Town manager Tooth replaced veteran Royals boss Chris Keogh back in September and will be rewarded for his work later in the month when the Royals take on Brigg Town at Coles Lane on Saturday 19 January. Tooth's team are also third in the league heading into 2013 and their manager is celebrating his first gong of the season after they won five out of five league outings in December.
