Defender makes Grimsby Borough return

Defender Lee Briggs has returned to former club Grimsby Borough.

Part of the RAF, Briggs has been working in Cyprus for the last three years but has recently returned to the area.

He will now link up with the Wilderness Boys, who currently sit 12th in the Pitching In NPL East Division.

Grimsby Borough manager Daniel Barrett said: “Lee is a great lad. He brings a lot to the changing room and is a very strong and athletic player with great pace.

“He loves these lads and is another one who would run through a brick wall for his team mates and myself.

“I’m really pleased to have him back amongst the group.”
