Diamonds bring in defensive reinforcements

AFC Rushden & Diamonds have announced the signing of centre-back Tarik Dallas.
The former Daventry Town man was announced before Tuesday evening’s clash against Cambridge City.
Dallas has been brought in to provide defensive reinforcements for a side that had conceded 71 league goals in 31 games this season, and shipped 7 to Quorn last Saturday.
He enjoyed a positive debut, starting and scoring in a 4-1 win for the Diamonds.
The win lifted the side from the foot of the table and placed them a point from safety with six games remaining.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds host 4th-placed Loughborough Dynano this Saturday as they aim to climb out of the bottom two.
