Double the debate for the New Year!

By David Watters

Fans of the EVO-STIK NPL Show are downloading a double dose of debate on the first weekend of 2018!

After Thursday’s release of the monthly EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show focusing on EVO-STIK League North and South, host Ben Hughes and his guests were back on Friday night with a second hour of news and debate on the weekly EVO-STIK NPL Show.

Both podcasts are touchline specials as the EVO-STIK League’s 68 clubs look forward to 2018. As well as hearing from the managers at Alvechurch, Basford United, Bedworth United, Clitheroe, Scarborough Athletic and Prescot Cables on the spin-off special, the management teams at Witton Albion, Whitby Town, and Ashton United all have their say on the second half of the season on Friday’s show.

Recorded in South Manchester and produced as always by the team behind FCUM Radio, Hughes and the EVO-STIK League’s social media manager James Heyes are also joined on Friday’s podcast by the North East Football Podcast's Mark Carruthers with a match-by-match preview of this weekend's Premier Division programme.

The EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit weekly and monthly podcasts returned for the 2017-18 campaign to rave reviews to build on their best ever listening figures last term and an end of season surge following a series of special live broadcasts from the promotion play-offs.

Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK and since last season have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
