Footballing charity Kit Aid has commissioned a special poster to help the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s clubs and fans make another huge collection of unwanted or discarded kit this Easter for disadvantaged young footballers around the world.

KitAid, the league's official charity for the last three seasons, is on a mission to win the backing of as many clubs as possible in 2014 and repeat the success of recent seasons when thousands of shirts have been donated by generous clubs and fans, either at the two matches over Easter or at previously organised collections.

KitAid have commissioned the poster, pictured, to help clubs publicise the campaign in their matchday programmes, on their websites and around their grounds. The poster is being sent to the clubs this week via the league’s press office and is also available direct from the charity itself.

KitAid’s founder, Derek Williams MBE, hopes the poster will help clubs already planning to take part and encourage others to consider lending their support to the successful scheme which is deliberately designed to be easy to sign up to and hassle free.

He said: "The posters have really helped clubs in past seasons to get their fans involved and we hope they do the same again. We’re very grateful to everybody for their help and hoping for another bumper collection this year."

Former England manager Graham Taylor OBE is patron of the charity which since its foundation in 1998 has distributed nearly 250,000 donated shirts in more than 30 countries.
