Easter Monday's South Division review

By David Watters

Only one game to get the nod in EVO-STIK League South on Bank Holiday Monday and that came at Chasetown where they entertained bottom-markers Romulus, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

George Cater opened the scoring at The Scholars Ground after 32 minutes when, despite being surrounded by defenders, he managed to lift the ball over the visiting keeper. And on 41 minutes the lead was doubled – Jack Langston’s fired an effort towards goal and it deflected off Cater.

Chasetown are sixth, three points above Leek Town, while the Roms remain a point adrift at the foot of the table.
