Eastwood secure Stags duo on loan

Eastwood Town have recruited Joel Holland and Scott Rogers on loan from Conference Premier neighbours Mansfield Town.

Winger Holland and central midfielder Rogers signed initial one month loans at Coronation Park on Tuesday. The Badgers are rock bottom of the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division and travel to Blyth Spartans on Saturday with the duo hoping to help caretaker managers Mitchell Hanson and Paul Riley start climbing the table.

Neither player has been able to break into the Stags first-team this season and were made available on loan deals by manager Paul Cox to gain more match experience.

Holland spent time with Eastwood’s NPL First Division South neighbours Rainworth Miners Welfare last season.
