Elliott signs new Town trio

Evo-Stik NPL First Division North Ossett Town added a trio of new signings to their squad before today's 1-0 FA Trophy win at home to Ashton United.

Up front, manager Craig Elliott signed striker Liam Radford, who was Northern Counties East League side Glasshoughton Welfare's leading goalscorer last season and played a key role in their promotion.

Former Frickley Athletic and North Ferriby United left-sided player Mark Whitehouse has also joined Elliott's squad from Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division side Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Former Frickley skipper Danny Walsh who made over 230 appearances for Athletic adds strength and experience in midfield to complete the trio.
