Managers get the nod to stay at Stafford

The pair took charge over the festive period following the sudden departure of Steve Burr, and they have helped edge Rangers away from the relegation zone.

They're currently unbeaten in seven, including a win over title chasing Warrington Town, and have only lost once in the league since New Year's Day.

Fearn was assistant to Burr at Stalybridge Celtic and Kidderminster Harriers, before their move to Stafford.

Meechan, 39, made a handful of appearances in the Football League for Swindon and Bristol City during his playing career, as well as playing for a number of non-league clubs, most notably Forest Green, Telford United and Stalybridge.

Stafford, who have a seven point cushion between them and the relegation zone, travel to Hyde United in the EVO-STIK League Premier Division this weekend.
