The attacking midfielder joins from Royston in the Southern League Premier Central, having signed for the side earlier this summer.
Previous clubs include Bury Town, Mildenhall Town and Haverhill Borough.
He links back up with his former teammates who are currently sitting 13th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
On his return to the club, Lilywhites manager Robbie Nightingale said: “We all know what a massive difference Jarid will make to the steadily improving squad.”
He is set to make his first appearance back in front of the home fans this Saturday when Cambridge host Bedworth United at the City Ground.
