The Northern Counties East League champions and Northern Premier League newcomers are looking forward to raising funds for the Samantha Sykes Foundation Trust as well as awareness of the charity's work with children and young people considered to be at risk of, or victims of sexual exploitation.
Set up in memory of Samantha Sykes who was murdered at 18 years old, the charity aims to help children leaving care fulfill their potential in further or higher education despite their challenging circumstances through the provision of funds for equipment, services and support.
The EVO-STIK League West club's trustees are now planning a series of joint events to help raise funds and the profile to support the "brilliant work of a fantastic charity".
Colls trustee Trevor Waddington said: "The most important thing about this charity is that every penny raised goes straight to the people it is intended to go to, unlike many other charitys where massive sums of money are paid to the CEO's before actually getting to the intended benificaries.
"It's a fabulous charity run by people who care a great deal how the money is spent and we are really looking forward to working with them. Please visit their website and share the fantastic work they do and see why they do so much. They are a truly amazing group of people!"
