After bringing in two commercial officers, a media officer and more match-day officials at the EVO-STIK NPL First Division South club, the Whites are looking to find a secretary to work with them and their existing band of ambitious and enthusiastic volunteers to help take them to higher levels on and off the pitch at Ashby Avenue.
The Whites have seen the spotlight firmly on their giant-killing city neighbours this season and in a statement advertising the opportunity said: "An important role that now needs to be filled is that of club secretary. This is a voluntary position reporting directly to the chairman and as an active member of the club's executive board you will play an important role in leading Lincoln's 'second' pro-football club forward. As the club's main interface with the Northern Premier League and the FA, you will have a passion for Non-League football and a proven competency in administration.
"Your main duties will include pre-season league and FA data registration as well as maintaining necessary links with other clubs, the league and the FA during the season to ensure the efficient completion of all league and cup fixtures. You will also manage administration within the club as well as liaise with other external organisations. Please note full training will be given and you will be helped and mentored along the way."
The club added: "The ethos at Lincoln United is one of 'all in it together' with the manager, his staff, players, officials, and volunteers all working as a team together to grow the club, grow support to it, and achieve success. Our club secretary will be very much part of this team. If you think you have what it takes to succeed in this vital role within our club, contact Rob Bradley on robbradleybuildingdesign@msn.com or 07957 584630 to find out more."
