Morgan agreed terms on Tuesday with the 24-year-old, pictured, who famously helped perennial Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints set a new world record for consecutive victories in 2016.
The North Wales-based player, who previously signed for Morgan at Welsh Pemier neighbours Llandudno, came though the academy at Gap Connah’s Quay Nomads and made 17 first team appearances for them before signing a full-time contract with TNS in 2014.
In December 2016, Edwards scored the first goal in a 2-0 win for TNS over Cefn Druids, the club's 27th consecutive league and cup victory eclipsing a 26-year-old world record held by Johan Cruff’s Ajax side for the most consecutive wins in competitive football.
Seagulls boss Morgan is looking forward to utilising the versatility of Edwards who's also had spells out on loan at a number of other Welsh Premier clubs including Airbus UK, Bala Town and Cefn Druids.
Morgan told the EVO-STIK League West club's website on Tuesday: “He is a winger with good pace, but he can also play in a number 10 role or centre midfield so he is quite versatile and a very good addition to the squad.”
