The Blues currently sit in a comfortable third place behind Marine and Workington with only a mere seven points separating themselves from the top.
Three new additions have been made to bolster the squad going into the new year where they will hope to maintain a push towards the title.
Enjoying a busy season on the goalscoring front, the Blues also wanted to ensure the goals aren’t creeping in the other end.
Goalkeeper Will Appleyard’s services were acquired from Tadcaster Albion.
The talented, young shot stopper joins after starting the season at Oldham Athletic.
Appelyard has previously enjoyed spells at Stevenage and Halifax and will be an exciting new addition to the Rylands.
Also joining the Blues making the move from Connah’s Quay Nomads is Johnny Hunt.
Having enjoyed spells at Wrexham, Stevenage and Hamilton Accies FC and featuring at Scottish Premier League level, the left back will be bringing bags of experience to Warrington.
Warrington Rylands did not stop there with the signings also adding South Africa star, Dean Furman.
Furman is certainly another experienced addition to the team as the midfielder has been capped 58 times for his country.
He joins from Altrincham Town and has shown excellent leadership qualities at the highest level and will be an asset to the Blues.
This trio signing should prove to be a perfect blend of young talent and experience for the Blues and should help prove be the driving force towards their title charge this season.
