Five more sign with Ramsbottom United

Ramsbottom United have announced the signings of Joel Earps, Tom Stewart, Will Hall, James Murphy and Godwin Abadaki.

Earps, 26, most recently played at Wisbech and Yaxley, who this season have both moved into the newly formed NPL midlands division.

Football runs through the blood of the Earps family, his sister Mary currently plays for Manchester United Women and has 36 caps in an England shirt from youth to senior level.

Goalkeeper, Stewart, 25, returns to the club following a spell away with Stalybridge Celtic. He made 31 appearances for the Rams during the curtailed 2019/20 season.

Hall, 19, makes the move on loan from Altrincham.

Murphy, 24, has played in the Welsh pyramid for the majority of this career so far, having spells at Rhyl, Newtown & Airbus UK Broughton. More recently he was at North West Counties side Litherland REMYCA before joining the Rams.

Abadaki, 27, joins the club from Premier Division outfit Buxton. He was a part of the side that won the Conference North with Hyde United in 2011/12 and the Northern Premier League Division One South with Shaw Lane in 2016/17.
