The former Guiseley and AFC Telford United boss was named as Coach of the Year at the Scarborough Borough Council Sports Development Awards at on Monday night with his third-placed side bidding for promotion to the EVO-STIK League's top flight.
Pictured after collecting his award at the Scarborough Spa, Kittrick took the helm at the EVO-STIK League North promotion-chasers in January 2016 with the club facing a battle against relegation. As well as keeping the Seadogs up, he took them to the final of the Integro League Cup in his first few months in charge.
Kittrick, who won the Northern Premier League with Guiseley in 2010 and also enjoyed success at Ossett Town, led Athletic to the play-offs last term and is on course to bid for promotion again this season after club ended ten years playing exile last summer to return to Scarborough and play at their new Flamingo Land Stadium.

Kittrick recently left AFC Telford United in August 2015 after eight months in charge at the Bucks Head, having previously enjoyed six hugely successful years at Guiseley.
