League's snow patrols back on alert!

Ramsbottom United's ground staff and volunteers looked to have a major snow job on their hands on Monday to ensure they could host Colwyn Bay in the EVO-STIK League on Tuesday night!

With snow blanketing the pitch at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium at 3.30pm, pictured, the Rams were getting ready for an early pitch inspection at 11am ahead of the fixture, one of five 7.45pm kick-offs in EVO-STIK League North on a busy night of league and cup action.

Wet weather hit more than a third of Saturday's programme and as temperatures plummet again this week, fans are advised to check the EVO-STIK League's website and social media channels on Tuesday for the latest updates in the build-up to four more matches in the top flight, two in EVO-STIK League South and seven county cup quarter-final and last four clashes involving eight league clubs.
