Chasetown FC held their annual charity fund raising day on Sunday, welcoming the Aston Villa Old Stars to the Scholars.
The Villa Old Stars were winners both on and off the field in their recent match at Chasetown FC against Crown Cutting Services, raising over £7500 for local charities and retaining The Crown Cutting Cup.
The match finished 2-2 with Martin Carruthers scoring two late goals for the Old Stars but the hero of the day was goalkeeper Derek Dudley, who save thee penalties in the shoot out, with Villa winning 3-0 on penalties.
The challenge has already been issued for next year as Crown Cutting Services look to finally get their hands on the Cutting Cup.
