England international becomes Whitby ambassador

England Women’s international Beth Mead has agreed to become a club ambassador at her hometown club Whitby Town.

Mead, 24, came through the ranks at Middlesbrough before starting her senior career in the FA Women’s Premier League with Sunderland.

She currently plays in the Women’s Super League for Arsenal and was part of their title winning side last season.

An England international, Mead has scored five goals in 19 caps for her country, who she also represented at U15, U17, U19, U20 and U23 level.
